Having started off in the early 1970’s based in Midrand, for more than 40 years Sunbeam Steel has been striving to meet the construction and building demands of our loyal customers. Upon our inception Sunbeam was initially a manufacturer of fibre glass sheeting and was run solely by Mr A. Mia. In 1993 the business was taken over from him by our current directors Mohsin and Mohammed Mia. After transitioning to the steel sector they began to build the business up and personally oversaw and ran the business, from loading trucks by hand to personally delivering goods to early customers. Over the years we have been fortunate enough to grow into what is now a multi-branch organization with locations in both Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
