Shutterply board is manufactured by stacking thin layers of wood on top of each other, adding an adhesive and then compressing them. Shutterply is mainly used for concrete forming and moulding. A mould is generally made out of shutterply board, wet concrete is then poured inside and left to cure. Once dry the shutterply is removed leaving the fully formed concrete structure.
